Intro

Milot Mirdita is an assistant professor at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine and a former member of the Steinegger Lab. His expertise includes bioinformatics, metagenomics, protein structure prediction and machine learning. He is the developer and maintainer of many open-source tools like ColabFold, MMseqs2 and Foldseek. Milot holds a PhD from the University of Göttingen and the MPI-NAT, where he previously worked with Johannes Söding.
